The RIEK Network<\/a> is structured as a federated academic network composed of national or regional chapters, which constitute the framework for scientific coordination in each country or region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The chapters bring together researchers and specialists affiliated with universities and research centres, promoting the development of academic activities in line with the general objectives of the RIEK Network<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each chapter enjoys organizational and regulatory autonomy to define its internal structure, procedures, and academic standards, provided that these do not contravene the guiding principles or the limits established by the General Statutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For formal recognition, a chapter shall be required to have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Its own statutes and internal regulations.
\u2022 Individually identified members.
\u2022 One representative and one alternate representative to the General Assembly.
\u2022 Associated academic institutions.
\u2022 An annual plan of academic activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The chapters are responsible for the editorial management of their respective sections within the digital ecosystem of the RIEK Network<\/a> , as well as for the development of their academic activities, in accordance with the Network\u2019s institutional principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The raising of funds or the assumption of financial commitments on behalf of the RIEK Network<\/a> shall require express authorization in accordance with the General Statutes, in order to ensure the transparency and institutional coherence of the Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The RIEK Network<\/a> maintains academic dialogue with researchers from various regions of the Ibero-American sphere with a view to the future establishment of new chapters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
